This is the first quote you will see on our platform - and here's how we calculate it.

 

Five miles through The City of London, can take longer than a 50 mile trip up the M1 motorway, so we base your instant van or truck quote, on how long you need the vehicle for - and the driver of course!

• We calculate the journey time between your collection & delivery postcodes.

​

• For vans, we add 30 minutes for loading and 30 minutes for unloading.

 

• For trucks, we add 60 minutes for loading and 60 minutes for unloading.

• We then multiply that total time by your vehicle's hourly rate below (subject to minimum charge & VAT):

     Small Vans:                                        £50.00 per hour / £60.00 minimum charge

​

     Medium Vans:                                  £60.00 per hour / £75.00 minimum charge

​

     Large Vans:                                         £70.00 per hour / £90.00 minimum charge

​

     Extra Large Vans:                           £80.00 per hour / £100.00 minimum charge

     Luton Vans:                                        £100.00 per hour / £125.00 minimum charge

     7.5 Tonne Trucks:                           £120.00 per hour / £300.00 minimum charge

     18 Tonne Trucks:                             £140.00 per hour / £400.00 minimum charge

​

     44 Tonne Trucks (Artic):          £150.00 per hour / £450.00 minimum charge

For example...

 

A small van journey of 2 hours, plus 30 minutes to load & 30 minutes to unload, would generate an Instant Quote of £120.00+vat (3 hours x £40 per hour + vat)

 

A 15 minute small van journey across town would be subject to our minimum charge of £50.00+vat
